Overview:

This opportunity at Micron is uniquely positioned at the intersection of brand new technology and innovative manufacturing. You will lead all aspects of the performance of our front-end manufacturing production line, focusing on designated areas. Working closely with cross-functional departments such as Production, Planning, IE, OI, EE, PE, and ATE, you will ensure alignment and continuous improvement of production processes. Your role will involve identifying and resolving production abnormalities while driving improvements in capacity and critical metric performance. Strong prioritization and workload management skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

PH or equivalent experience Process Shift Team Management:

Work 12-hour shifts during the dayMonitor production line status (tools, WIP, etc.) to ensure efficient output and cycle timeAnalyze production data and dynamically adjust strategies to meet critical metricsDrive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., workload reduction, lost time, RPT, OI scheduling, Q-time control)Lead operators in real-time production monitoring and capacity issue reportingManage multiple tasks and set clear priorities within deadlinesStrong analytical and data interpretation skillsDemonstrated leadership in team building, mentoring, and coachingAble to work under pressure with strong communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)Experience with Tableau and SQL preferredWilling to work in rotating Day shifts (only working in Day shift)Capable of delivering presentations and communicating in EnglishDigitally savvy and sensitive to numerical dataMust have personal transportation due to frequent overtimeResilient and passionate about work

Collaboration:

Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers (ME), Equipment Engineers (EE), and Process Owners (PO) to resolve process constraints.

Issue Resolution:

Identify and resolve abnormal cases promptly.

SOP Optimization:

Provide methods for optimizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Process Development and Optimization:

Develop and optimize processes to improve product quality, reliability, and yield.Implement cost reduction strategies and efficiency optimizations.Manage risk and resolve manufacturing line problems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related fieldProven experience in a manufacturing or engineering roleStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
