About This Role

                                                                                                         

The ICT Lead will be an experienced ICT Professional and will be driven to manage and oversee the deployment of on-premises infrastructure, cloud-based services and the end-to-end cybersecurity design and authorisation process.

This role will require strong technical expertise, leadership skills and a deep understanding of secure ICT environments to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable and compliant systems.

The role we are offering you

Lead the planning, design and implementation of physical ICT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking and virtualisation platformsOversee installation, configuration and maintenance of on-prem environments ensuring performance, resilience and scalabilityEnsure ICT systems meet organisational security policies and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to coordinate hardware procurement and deployment

Our ideal candidate has:

Ideally hold a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experienceStrong experience in ICT Infrastructure deployment, including on-prem and cloud environmentsProven experience in cloud platform implementation, ideally being AWS or AzureSolid knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, authorisation processes and compliance standards

Location:

Homebush, NSWWe operate a hybrid working approach.Your role will involve some ad-hoc domestic and possible international travel

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
