Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented ICQA (Inventory Control Quality Assurance) Researcher to join our dynamic inventory control team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining inventory accuracy and developing innovative quality control processes. You'll work at the intersection of data analytics and operational excellence, using both systematic research methods and hands-on problem-solving to optimize our inventory management systems.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is paramount. You'll lead crucial inventory investigations, develop new methodologies for tracking and maintaining stock accuracy, and collaborate with multiple departments to implement best practices. Key job responsibilities
Development of data collection processes and data management systems
• Maintenance of data integrity (0% error rate)
• Designing of queries, compiling of data, and generation of reports in MS Access and Excel
• Charting and graphing of data for reporting purposes
• In depth research of defect trends
• Data collection and entry as needed
• Data mining and problem solving
Basic Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros
- Experience with Amazon QuickSight or similar BI tools for data visualization
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Understanding of FCs (fulfilment centers) operations.
