**Introduction**
Are you looking to kick-start your career in technology with a structured development path and fast-track growth opportunities? Our IBM Tech Sales Accelerator Program is designed for ambitious graduates, offering hands-on training (Data, Business Automation, Security, AI, Assistants), mentorship, and real-world experience within Customer Success. Over 12-24 months, you will work in Customer Success before transitioning into your next career step as Data Technical Sales Engineer.
**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Data Technical Sales Engineer you'll work closely with clients and partners to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Client Management and Strategy: Manage a dedicated client set and define, confirm and communicate the value of IBM’s Data technology at both the technical and business level.
* Solution Definition and Proof of Concept Delivery: Learn and employ Data solution-selling techniques to identify and engage decision makers and influencers, qualify business opportunities, and respond to clients' needs. Provide proof of concepts and simplifying technical concepts of Data to ensure client comprehension.
* Credibility Building and Trust: Establish credibility and trust with clients, which is essential for closing complex technology deals.
* Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process and ensure delivery against KPIs, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.
As part of your IBM Tech Sales Accelerator Program, you will start in Customer Success as Customer Success Manager Architect. You're helping clients fully realize the value of their existing IBM products, whilst growing their adoption of next-generation technologies from across IBM's wider portfolio. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Understanding Client's Challenges and Building Trust: Understand clients' primary challenges and establish yourself as a trusted technical expert for their migration, deployment, and adoption of Hybrid Cloud and AI Growth offerings.
* Facilitating Use Case Exploration and Business Framing: Lead use case exploration and business framing workshops, develop client value realization models.
* Leading Persuasive Technical Conversations: Lead technical discussions that persuade clients to act based on their requirements and the value provided by IBM's solutions.
* Creating Post-Deployment Customer Success Plans: Develop post-deployment customer success plans aimed at continually increasing post-launch, active user adoption of IBM's products.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Technical Education: Completed technical degree such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Communication and Language Skills: Possess excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging, compelling and influential.
* English & Local Language proficiency requested.
* Analytical Skills with a focus on using data for decision-making and achieving positive business outcomes.
* Team player with a collaborative spirit, able to work across multiple functions and levels within IBM and partners.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* First experience with Sales and/or IT
