IBM Maximo Project Manager - Federal
IBM Maximo Project Manager - Federal The Position: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient IBM Maximo Project Manager to support enterprise-wide facility operations through the project management and optimization of IBM Maximo for a federal client. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale maintenance systems, strong analytical skills, and a passion for improving operational efficiency through technology and agile project management. Responsibilities will include: + Support integration efforts between CMMS and other platforms (e.g., building automation systems, energy tracking tools). + Provide data support, quality assurance, and loading for building data including locations, equipment lists, and preventive maintenance. + Provide business line Project Management from national initiatives down to building level projects. + Lead the planning, configuration, and deployment of Maximo across multiple sites or business units. + Coordinate with IT, facilities, and operations teams to ensure Maximo aligns with organizational workflows and maintenance strategies. + Manage system upgrades, patches, and integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., BAS, ERP, energy management systems). + Develop and maintain project timelines, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies for Maximo-related initiatives. + Oversee data migration and validation efforts during system transitions or onboarding of new facilities. + Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across Maximo modules. + Collaborate with vendors and consultants to implement customizations, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance. + Monitor system usage and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. + Provide executive-level reporting and dashboards to communicate project status, KPIs, and ROI. + Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to maintenance and asset management. Some of the core qualifications for the role include: + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. + Junior: 3+ Years of related experience. + Mid-level: 7+ Years of related experience. + Senior: 10+ Years of related experience. + 3+ years of experience in project management and administering IBM Maximo support. + Experience supporting federal agencies, preferably at the General Services Administration. + Strong understanding of facility operations, preventive maintenance, and asset management. + Excellent communication, documentation, and training development skills. + Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
