**IBM Mainframe Developer ( Hybrid)** Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **Engineering Manager** with a strong background in **IBM Mainframe technologies** and deep expertise in the **Cards & Payments domain** . The ideal candidate will lead a high-performing engineering team, ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and timely delivery of solutions in a hybrid work environment. **Location:** Cleveland, OH Key Responsibilities + Lead and manage the engineering team to deliver high-quality software solutions in the **Cards & Payments domain** . + Oversee development and maintenance of applications using **IBM Mainframe Utilities** , ensuring optimal performance and reliability. + Provide technical guidance on **Endevor** , **VSAM** , **JCL** , **DB2** , and **COBOL** . + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mainframe components. + Drive adoption of best practices in **COBOL programming** to enhance code quality and efficiency. + Ensure compliance with industry standards, security, and regulatory requirements. + Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. + Foster a culture of **continuous improvement** , innovation, and knowledge sharing. + Optimize resource allocation and project timelines for maximum efficiency. + Engage with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions. + Support team development through mentoring, training, and performance feedback.
