The IBM Innovation Studio in Austin will be one of four premier Innovation Studios in North America. Our core mission is client and partner engagement and co-creation. We meet the client where they are and engage to bring the best of IBM to the client with a mission of both progressing and expanding IBM's relationship with the client. We also host a variety of events at the Innovation Studio that are vital to IBM’s brand and mission as a transformative Hybrid Cloud and AI company.
**Your role and responsibilities**
We are seeking an Experience Lead who has demonstrated success in event planning leadership to own this vital role for the high-touch and high-visibility engagements to be held at IBM Innovation Studio Austin.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
Experience of the following skills and areas:
* Project management and organizational skills
* Leadership and inclusive collaboration skills
* Interfacing directly with C-Suite executives
* Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills (e.g. with vendors)
* Knowledge of external signature events
* Familiarity with IBM events processes, systems, and tools (e.g. Briefing Source, CTEBA)
* Experience in visual or graphic design
* Can anticipate and fulfill client requests
* Remains calm under pressure; is unflappable if things don't go as planned
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Strong Project management and organizational skills
* Strong leadership and inclusive collaboration skills
* Interfacing directly with C-Suite executives on a global scale
* Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills (e.g. with vendors)
* Knowledge of external signature events
* Understands IBM events processes, systems, and tools (e.g. Briefing Source, CTEBA)
* Has applied experience in visual or graphic design
* Can anticipate and fulfill client requests
* Remains calm under pressure; is unflappable if things don't go as planned and can easily pivot, collaboratively, to the right solution
