Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking an **IBM CMOD Solutions Architect** to join their team. As an IBM CMOD Solutions Architect, you will be part of the IT department supporting critical migration projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: IBM CMOD Solutions Architect**
**Location: Remote**
**Contract on W2**
**Note: This is a solutioning and hands-on technical role ideal for a CMOD expert/SME who has successfully delivered or guided similar migrations.**
**What's the Job?**
+ Evaluate the current IBM CMOD deployment in IBM Cloud.
+ Design a future-state architecture aligned to the client's infrastructure with GCP or Azure backend.
+ Define a phased migration strategy including data movement, configuration, and integration plans.
+ Collaborate with client and delivery teams to ensure feasibility and technical accuracy.
+ Support proposal development with migration effort estimates and solution guidance.
**What's Needed?**
+ Strong expertise in IBM CMOD architecture and administration.
+ Proven experience in CMOD migration projects, ideally from cloud-hosted environments.
+ Familiarity with GCP and/or Azure environments (deep expertise not required).
+ Strong solution design and documentation skills.
+ Ability to work cross-functionally with client, engineering, and cloud teams.
