**Introduction** At IBM, Technical Solution Architects work to understand needs and then create complex high-quality solutions that make meaningful impact. You’ll be responsible for overall leadership and delivery of the solutions from requirement gathering through implementation. You’ll use your in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technologies along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes. **Your role and responsibilities** This technical solution architect role architects first-class IBM Cloud technical solutions on complex pre & post-sale opportunities including client critical situations and onboarding acceleration. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Architect level certification in at least one hyperscaler (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) and strong knowledge and experience of hybrid cloud design & solutioning in IBM Cloud or another hyperscaler. * Strong architectural design background and experience and cloud delivery experience including hands on. * Experience in customer facing interaction with architecture and technical teams. * Broad technical understanding of the IBM Technology portfolio * Self-Starter who is a fast learner of technology and willing to experiment to find the best solutions **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent * Knowledge of one or more of the following: VMWare, Red Hat OpenShift, Power Virtual Server, Ansible, Teraform * Knowledge of Cloud Networking, Cloud Security & Compliance, Non functional requirements such as Backup, DR, etc IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
