IBM Apptio Engagement Manager

We work in a highly collaborative and agile environment where we strive to continuously improve. **Your role and responsibilities** We are seeking individuals with business and technology consulting experience, combined with project management experience, to implement SaaS Software solutions for our customers. Engagement Managers own and lead customer engagements and function as integrator between business needs and technology solutions. Your efforts will directly impact the value realized by the customer and the ultimate success of the relationship. This role will collaborate closely with customers and the IBM Apptio Field Delivery team to project manage the deployment and roll out of customer solutions. If you have the passion and energy to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment, you are the person we are looking for **Required technical and professional expertise** Basic Qualifications: * 10+ years of system implementation or consulting experience with at least five years as a senior consultant or project manager * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Finance or equivalent experience * Demonstrated project management skills and proven ability to execute against a defined methodology and deliver projects within scope, budget, and timeline **Preferred technical and professional experience** General * Demonstrated client relationship and interpersonal skills. * Consulting experience in enterprise systems implementations. * Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills. * Client-focused attitude and ability to be a customer advocate. * Team player, with effective and productive communication and presentation skills. * Demonstrated experience with packaged application software implementation deployment and practices, preferably with knowledge of IT Financial Management (ITFM) and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to translate complex information into simple solution requirements. * Experience with data analysis projects. * A proven history of leading meetings with senior management and executives as the subject matter expert. Business Domain Focus * Specific knowledge and application of IT services, FinOps, financial management including budgeting, cost allocations, capital & operating expense handling, program portfolio management, and application / infrastructure support. * Operational knowledge of IT infrastructure domains including data centers, network / communications, server utilization, virtual environments, storage, and application development & maintenance.
