What you need to be successful and how you will make an impact on the mission as a CONUS Operations Manager:
As CONUS Operations Manager you will manage the successful completion of all tasks within the CONUS region of the IBDSS contract and delivery of survey and installation of PM FPS and/or PM GS products provided to assigned customers.
Be able to act independently as IBDSS representative and customer service point of contact in a distributed, geographically separated environment; manage health and serviceability of multiple systems across a wide-spread geographic area. You may do this with the assistance of up to 15 team members at one time.
Manage project stakeholders to meet customer requirements; produce and review project documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of specific mission / special project requirements.
Manage applicable project plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitor tasks to meet project requirements for the IBD-SS program
Be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite products to include Excel and Project
Consistently display comprehensive knowledge of all project support requirements
Perform Site Surveys for implementation and employment of PM FPS and PM GS Family of Systems.
Supervise installations and de-installs of systems and their components; understand limitations and capabilities of the support teams to ensure delivery within establish time constraints.
Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service, and suggest changes to increase efficiency.
Provide expert recommendations to the Program Manager for project management requirements and ensures compliance with all policies, plans, and procedures.
What you will need to succeed:
BA/BS + 10-15 years of relevant experiment Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree. (AA/AS + 16 yrs; HS +17 yrs)
Able to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 25%
Must demonstrate proficiency in analyzing mission requirements and developing solutions and in the application of the IBD-SS scope.
Have ability/experience in briefing senior level military and contract executives
Project experience in a distributed, fast-paced environment with customer deliverables
Understanding of a Cost-Plus Incentive Fee, multiple CLIN projects desired
A PMP certification is desired but not required
Must be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
Previous experience with HMDS, RAID, BETSS-C, IBD-K systems is desired
