**Who we are** By joining our project, you will be working on an initiative of the European Commission focused on creating a more efficient, modern and secure customs environment within the European Union. Being part of this initiative set on a 5 years’ timeline, you will have the opportunity to work on topics such as digitalization of customs processes, streamlining customs procedures to facilitate trade and reduce costs, harmonization of customs rules across all EU member states and combating fraud. This purposeful project will not only give you the opportunity to have an impact on one of the key topics within the European Union, it will also offer you various professional opportunities, let you experience a collaborative environment, using cutting-edge technologies and experiencing diversity in your everyday professional life. **What you'll be doing** + Supporting the transformation, implementation, and ongoing operations of Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity Access Management (IAM) solutions. + Designing, deploying, and maintaining PAM/IAM services, including health checks, strategy development, and implementation. + Ensuring security technical controls are in place across diverse IT environments and systems. + Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize security posture while maintaining system reliability and stability. + Installing and configuring security solutions such as vaulting, policy management, session management, and identity management across multi-platform environments. + Performing engineering tasks including build, configuration, upgrades, testing, deployment, and performance tuning. + Automating tasks and developing scripts using Python, Java, PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible. + Creating and managing safes, policies, roles, and permissions for access to systems including Windows, UNIX, databases, and network devices. + Leading troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for PAM/IAM-related issues. + Work with the Operational counter parts to ensure the 24/7 critical production platforms have the appropriate expertise and supporting processes. This includes documentation, runbooks and updated documentation. + Participating in on-call rotations and supporting day-to-day infrastructure operations, including incident resolution and monitoring. + Maintaining documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases to support operational excellence. + Staying current with emerging technologies and best practices in identity and access management. + Mentor, help compose documentation and instructions for other team members to follow. **What you'll bring along** + Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. + Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Information Security or a related technology field. + Strong hands-on experience with PAM/IAM solutions such as CyberArk, Centrify, BeyondTrust, Thycotic (vendor certifications preferred). + Familiarity with PrivX is a plus. + Deep understanding of authentication protocols, platform security, and access control models. + Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Virtual Directory, and database technologies like PostgreSQL and Redis. + Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible. + Expertise in platform security, administration and management, such as Microsoft Windows Server administration and/or Linux/UNIX system administration + Strong documentation, mentoring, and collaboration skills. + Ability to manage complex deployments and troubleshoot across diverse environments. + University degree or equivalent experience in IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields. + Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience working in enterprise-scale environments. + Excellent command of both spoken and written English (any other European language would be a plus). **What’s in it for you** ✔ New beginnings can be a challenge.
