IAM Engineer

We are seeking a talented individual to join our IGA Support team at Marsh as an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer.

You will be part of a team of developers and business analysts, both onshore and offshore, supporting the design, development, and governance of user identity management. Collaborating with the IAM management team, you will identify, design, and support IAM capabilities and tools while prioritizing strategies for implementation. Additionally, you will work with Information Security teams on risk remediation and audit requirements and liaise with internal application teams to assess their IAM capabilities and provide guidance on actionable plans to address any gaps.

We will count on you to:

Develop custom code, connectors, and interfaces with enterprise systems like EBS and ServiceNow.

Communicate technical and functional aspects of the product and implementation to clients and stakeholders.

Create use cases, conduct testing, debugging, and provide support and maintenance.

Collaborate with application owners to review technical specifications and integration requirements.

Onboard applications by engaging stakeholders to educate them on platform capabilities and integration needs.

Analyze application, security, and business requirements for identity lifecycle and access requests, mapping them to technical specifications.

Lead demonstrations of configurations, customizations, and out-of-the-box product features while preparing technical and user documentation.

What You Need to Have:

8+ years of experience configuring and customizing IAM connectors and products, including 2+ years of hands-on experience required with SailPoint IdentityNow/Identity Security Cloud, with extensive application onboarding across OOTB, custom, and API-based categories; also experienced in databases (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL) and enterprise systems such as EBS, PeopleSoft, and Workday.

Strong knowledge of security applications related to identity management, account creation/maintenance, and familiarity with third-party IAM offerings.

Proficient in programming languages such as Java, BeanShell/JavaScript, and SQL, with significant experience in Java development and web technologies like XML, SCIM, and HTML.

Proficient increating and maintaining workflows, cloud and connector rules, roles, policies, and reports using the Identity Now / ISC APIs, SDK, and UI.

Excellent communication skills with experience in client interactions, business requirements gathering, design, documentation of IAM products, and knowledge of identity lifecycle management and security best practices.
