Title: IAD Overnight Lounge Cleaner

Pay Rate: 18.78 per hour

Location: Dulles International Airport

Job Classification: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Shift: Must be willing to work on Saturday, Sunday, and three weekdays for five consecutive days

09:30 PM to 06:00 AM

Ability to work in a teamwork environment Ensure the familiarity with all areas of the operation within the services area/location Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while complying with company’s expectations, rules and procedures  Ability to handle hazardous and sometimes significantly unpleasant conditions Mop all hard service floor Vacuum all carpets and mopping all floors Dust all furniture and fixture Clean bathrooms (male & female) removing garbage from receptacle and replenish all paper products. Wash sink and hardware and backsplash. Clean/polish water cooler Clean ticket counter, podium, tops, fronts, sides, stainless steel Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials, correct use of uniform, safety vest, ear plugs, and safety behavior actions inside and outside the aircraft. Ability to maintain professionalism in appearance and manners towards co-workers, clients and any other person within the airport and work location

Enough to maintain a conversation which would allow receiving information as well as instructions to be followed

 

Visual Abilities:

Acuity enough to enable to operate equipment/cleaning material

 

Language Skills/Ability: 

Ability to communicate with people from different walks of life. 

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to deal with a variety of variables under some standardization.  Ability to interpret various instructions

Education:

High school graduate or GED

Ability to plan, organize, follow instruction

Be able to lift, push and carry 70 lbs. or more

Ability to work under pressure, stressful environment and time constraints

 

Skills / Experience:

Previous aviation industry experience preferred,

 

Overall:
Must meet all requirements to receive required airport badge, including the successful completion of a background check and drug test.
