This role requires effective coordination with various company personnel and contractors. Must be able to provide detailed reporting of daily activities and progress reports of all active projects. Will be responsible for supervising and coordinating multiple projects at once. Must be able to perform basic maintenance, calibration, and testing of instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations


 

Job Title: Technician II I&E 

Department: Infrastructure

                                 

Summary: Responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation and operation of instruments and automation/electrical equipment for new battery builds, upgrades and new well installations. This role requires effective coordination with various company personnel and contractors. Must be able to provide detailed reporting of daily activities and progress reports of all active projects. Will be responsible for supervising and coordinating multiple projects at once. Must be able to perform basic maintenance, calibration, and testing of instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

Adhere to all Safety and Environmental policies and procedures Capable of identifying all risks associated with any assigned work prior to executionSupervise the construction of new battery builds, battery upgrades, and new well sites. Test, inspect, operate, and troubleshoot electrical and automation equipment.  Able to troubleshoot using P&IDs and loop diagrams Minor PLC programming Daily meeting and scheduling of activities with team members and contractors Installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment as needed Coordination of projects with management, contractors, and utilities Train team members and operators on operation of equipment Attend required safety meetings, hold tailgate safety meetings and write JSAs Assist in the design, engineering, and procurement of electrical equipment and instrumentation systems Record project activities and equipment serial numbers and report to managementTrack daily costs in Siteview

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of (2) years of I&E experience and (5) years of oilfield experience  Knowledge in SCADA network architecture Familiar with local and national electrical codes (NEC)Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s licenseAble to meet insurability standards to drive a company vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of programmingState of Texas Journeyman Electrician LicensePLC programming experience
