System One is seeking a skilled I&E Technician for an oil and gas client in the Tulsa area. This role focuses on technical responsibilities, with no drafting or design work involved. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and have experience with process skids and OEM products.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain instrument data sheets, control narratives, and basis of design documentation. Create data sheets for instrumentation and provide Input/Output (I/O) lists for clients. Review control systems for skid-based plants and heater projects. Conduct factory acceptance tests, including procedure creation, troubleshooting, and client witnessing. Specify control valves, shutdown valves, and instrumentation, including level, flow, and measurement devices. Ensure familiarity with burner management systems (BMS) and adhere to industry standards. Demonstrate strong technical skills in conduit, wiring, conduit fittings, and tubing/tube fittings. Qualifications: Proven experience in the oil and gas sector. Strong technical background in instrumentation and control systems. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
