As an I-9 & E-Verify Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in upholding employment verification standards, guiding Human Resources and business leaders through complex compliance processes, and protecting Spectrum’s reputation for accuracy and reliability. Your commitment to service and compliance will directly influence the consistency and trustworthiness of our employment practices.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Attain and apply expertise across multiple business systems to accurately record and manage employee dataOversee Form I-9 and E-Verify processes, including reverification and reporting, using Spectrum’s Onboarding and Human Capital Management systemsTrack and communicate deadlines for work authorization documents and receipts to prevent compliance issues and missed deadlinesDeliver targeted communications and guidance to I-9 Administrators and related teams to resolve outstanding casesGenerate daily, weekly, and executive-level reports highlighting incomplete verifications and compliance metrics for escalationAudit and correct data entry errors on I-9 forms to prevent downstream process impacts and maintain complianceResearch and document resolutions for complex employment authorization scenarios, ensuring adherence to federal requirements

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

Education

Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, related field; or equivalent work experience with prior customer service experience

Experience

2+ years of Human Resources and/or Shared Services Operations Center experience

Ability to problem solve in a high-volume production-oriented environmentHigh level of analytical, process and problem resolution skillsClear and effective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityStrong customer service orientation and rapid responsiveness to peer and client group needsHigh degree of attention to detail, logical thinking, and organizational skillsHold exceptional follow-up cadence of outstanding or pending mattersHave excellent research skillsPrevious experience with I-9 & E-Verify is desiredPrevious experience working with a multi-state shared services organization is desiredDemonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel preferred
