GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Hypnotherapist provides therapy using hypnosis, rapid hypnotic induction, relaxation, visualization and guided imagery techniques, and positive suggestion.

RESPONSIABILITES:

Collaborates with client's psychologist or psychiatrist to coordinate therapies.

Interviews and evaluates client to develop plan for use of hypnosis, relaxation, visualization, and/or guided imagery.

Documents all appropriate information in client's record.

Obtains proper documentation and authorization for treatment.

Solicits information from client to develop and use hypnosis, relaxation, visualization and/or guided imagery.
