Job Summary
The Hyperbaric Technician is responsible for the safe and effective delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy as prescribed by a physician. This role involves operating and maintaining hyperbaric chambers and equipment, monitoring patients during therapy, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The Hyperbaric Technician collaborates with clinical teams to support patient care and may assist with wound care services under the supervision of appropriate medical personnel.

Technical School completion of an approved Hyperbaric Technician training program required 0-1 years of training or experience in basic hyperbaric chamber required 1-2 years of experience as a hyperbaric technician or related role preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of hyperbaric oxygen therapy principles, protocols, and equipment operation. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures rigorously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to assess patient condition and respond promptly to emergencies or complications. Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and documentation. Familiarity with infection control and hazard control procedures in a healthcare setting.Licenses and Certifications
