Culina Logistics is the leading 3rd party UK logistics business specialising in chilled warehousing providing an excellent platform for food and drink manufactures.

We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative on a full time, permanent basis at our Tilbury depot. 

Shifts:

4ON 4OFF Days - £28,398 per annum. 

4ON 4OFF Nights - £28,398 per annum plus Nights Allowance of £2421 per annum.  

Job DescriptionMaintain a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in the areas of the warehouse, including warehouse canteen and all toilets facilitiesWorking inside the current Hygiene schedule, ensure that all automated areas are clear of debris at the required intervalRegularly empty bins using the designated skips, ensuring the bins are always in good working order and ensure that waste storage areas are kept clear of waste build upProvide cleaning support to other areas within the warehouse such as Loading Area, Picking Area and Goods Inwards AreaEnsure that the site maintains a 95% score on all internal auditsCo-operate with other areas of the business such as our customers and Transport Department to ensure that we maintain and promote a safe and clean working environmentUndertake other duties in any area of the warehouse as requested by their Team Leader and Shift ManagerEnsure that clear communication between shifts, on hygiene issues are relayed to co-workers and duty management teamEnsure that all cleaning equipment is fit for purpose, stored in the correct place and any missing and defective equipment is removed and reported to the duty management teamEnsure that all risk assessments and safe systems of work are adhered to at all timesEnsure that all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn / used at all times and all defects are reported to the duty management team

QualificationsGreat interpersonal and communication skills.Proactivity and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Cleaner experience is preferred but full training will be provided if necessaryKnowledge of health and safety standards and the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and maintain schedule while responding to incidents.
