Job Description

The Hydrogeologist will be responsible for project management and leading the development and execution of technical scopes of work. The role involves overseeing field investigations, conducting data analysis, developing conceptual site models and numerical groundwater models, evaluating groundwater resources, and designing dewatering systems for open pit and underground mines. This position will support the needs of mining clients both domestically and internationally.

ResponsibilitiesManage projects and lead the development of technical scopes of work.Oversee field investigations and conduct data analysis.Develop conceptual site models and numerical groundwater models.Evaluate groundwater resources and design dewatering systems for mines.Support mining clients in the U.S. and internationally.Essential SkillsExperience in hydrogeology and hydrology.Proficiency in groundwater modeling, including Modflow.Experience creating groundwater models for mine sites.Strong project management skills.Familiarity with software such as Goldsim, Feflow, AQTESOLV, and Leapfrog.Additional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience working directly with underground and open pit mines.10+ years of experience in hydrogeology.Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license is a plus.Work Environment

The role involves working in a team of four Hydrogeologists with a hybrid work schedule, allowing for one or two days of remote work. There is an opportunity for career growth, including the potential to lead the team upon a current team leader's retirement at the end of 2026. The position offers a $500 health stipend and is open to candidates nationwide willing to relocate. You will have the opportunity to work on both domestic and foreign mining projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
