About the role
Join our dynamic Marine team in Woodville North as a Hydraulic Technician, a crucial role in propelling the performance of the Collins Class Submarines.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for stripping, survey, cleaning, refurbishment and testing of hydraulic and mechanical equipment. You will keep the workshop running smoothly with regular maintenance and troubleshoot any equipment issues that arise.
You will work closely with the Workshop team to ensure we meet all program targets and deliver exceptional results.
About you
With a mechanical trade background and further training or certificates in hydraulics (desirable), you will understand quality processes and their application to high integrity defence assets. You will have extensive experience in the refurbishment of hydraulics machinery and mechanical systems, with the ability to read and interpret detailed drawings.

To be successful in this position you will bring:
Current class C drivers licence Experience working with Microsoft Office software, particularly World, Excel and IFS Australian Citizenship with a Defence Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one
