Job Description

A Hydraulic Mechanic is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of heavy hydraulic equipment. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and construction machines, focusing on heavy equipment repairs and adjustments to diesel power units. Additionally, the mechanic may perform incidental welding operations as needed.

ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair issues in diesel engines and hydraulic systems.Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulic equipment.Conduct field visits for emergency repairs.Run diagnostic tests and interpret results to offer suitable solutions.Repair or replace vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts.Perform welding or fabrication tasks as necessary.Essential SkillsExperience with hydraulics and diesel engines.Ability to troubleshoot and interpret hydraulic blueprints.Familiarity with hydraulic systems, valves, and assemblies.Knowledge of schematics and electrical systems.Understanding of pneumatics.

First Shift position from 7AM - 4:30PM

Monday - Friday

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
