Hydraulic Inspector and Fitter Company : Safran Landing Systems Job field : Manufacture / assembly and repair Location : Gloucester , England , United Kingdom Contract type : Permanent Contract duration : Full-time Professional status : Employees / Staff \# 2025-156178 Apply with one click Any questions ? **Job Description** • Working to the production plan all hydraulic units and actuation will be covered. • The production plan will demand various work-scopes to include test & repair, repair or overhaul • Hydraulic units are tested on a rig to determine serviceability • Serviceable units are inspected to be released back to service. • Failed test units require disassembly and subsequent inspection to return the unit to serviceability. • Parts are sentenced as serviceable, scrap or requiring repair • Performing minor rework such as hand salvage, blending damaged material, polishing may be required in conjunction with assessing parts/components for repair. • Hydraulic units are fully assembled and tested to CMM & drawing maintenance data. • Responsibility and confidence to sign off and stamp one's own work for safe release back into service in line with all relevant build documentation. • Flexible to cover multiple technical disciplines. **Complementary Description** • • Productivity • SPT / TAT performance • Sales plan performance • Internal & external quality • Average hours performance **Job Requirements** • • Basic computer skills are essential • Apprentice trained or equivalent qualifications. • Experience in working with Inspection & Fitting on Aircraft Landing Gears and Components • Ability to use precision measuring and test equipment • Dedicated, team player, decisive, target driven, skills flexible, positive attitude. • Good communication **But what else?
