Hybrid Personal Injury Senior Trial Paralegal
Description We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Trial Paralegal to join our mid-sized law firm client's dedicated team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in litigation and trial preparation, particularly in Plaintiff's personal injury cases. If you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful cases involving product liability, premises liability, wrongful death, and similar areas. FileVine experience preferred. Responsibilities: • Coordinate all aspects of trial preparation, including creating visual aids, models, and mockups to support case presentations. • Manage civil litigation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. • Draft and organize legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials related to personal injury cases. • Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and provide comprehensive support during trial proceedings. • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all relevant information is easily accessible. • Conduct thorough research on case law, statutes, and regulations to support litigation efforts. • Communicate with clients and witnesses to gather essential information and provide updates on case progress. • Utilize FileVine or similar case management software to track deadlines, documentation, and case details. • Assist in wrongful death, product liability, and premises liability cases, providing specialized expertise. • Coordinate mock trials and other pre-trial activities to ensure readiness for courtroom proceedings. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury law. • Proficiency in civil litigation processes and trial preparation techniques. • Proven expertise in handling personal injury plaintiffs’ cases, including wrongful death and product liability. • Familiarity with trial preparation tools, such as visual aids, models, and mockups. • Experience with case management software, preferably FileVine. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple case files efficiently. • Excellent research and analytical skills to support case development. • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities for client and attorney interactions.
