Hybrid LCSW – Outpatient Behavioral Health Services (Spanish Required)

Salary: $1701 / Week
Amergis is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker . The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is responsible for conducting face-to-face sessions with patients in order to complete thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide supportive counseling, crisis intervention and psychotherapy. Serves populations with a variety of clinical needs including; depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and psychological stress related to health impairments, chronic illness, difficulties related to relationship and family issues, and substance use.
RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE :
+ Provide mental health screenings and initial assessments
+ Provide short-term, structured, evidence-based psychotherapy as part of an appropriate treatment plan and in accordance with facility policies
+ Facilitate referrals to other services.
+ Work closely with Psychiatrist on cases requiring psychiatric medication evaluation or treatment
+ Provide clinical therapeutic services to patients, including individual, family, couple, and group therapy and coordination of treatment for participants with co-occurring disorders. Psycho-educational classes.
+ Provide crisis intervention as needed using the warm handoff methodology.
+ Urgent evaluations as needed, with referral to local ER and county mental health as needed.
+ Maintain accurate and timely records of activities, case management notes, and services provided.
QUALLIFICATIONS:
+ LCSW: Licensed Clinical Social Worker or MFT: Marriage and Family Therapist.
+ Cultural competence working with diverse/ low-income communities.
+ Bilingual in English – Spanish needed
+ Onsite availability preferred - open to hybrid schedule.
