As an Outpatient Therapist with Seneca Family of Agencies, you will provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed mental health services in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role offers the opportunity to deliver individual, family, and group therapy using best-practice treatment modalities tailored to each client’s unique strengths and goals. Outpatient Therapists play a key role in partnering with clients and their support systems to address symptoms of psychiatric disorders through comprehensive assessment, collaborative treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic interventions. You’ll work closely with schools, caregivers, and community providers to ensure clients receive coordinated and effective care.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide child, family and/or group therapy utilizing culturally informed and best practice modalities Work in partnership with children, youth and families to determine their goals within therapy Promptly respond to referrals of children and adolescents who present with symptoms of psychiatric disorders Complete client assessments and develop treatment plans by gathering consents, relevant documents, and input from caregivers and professionals For clients meeting medical necessity, provide therapy and coordinate care through case management and collaboration with schools and community resources Maintain availability for crisis intervention services and complete incident reports in adherence to agency timeline Complete documentation in compliance with all requirements and timely reviews of all assigned cases Participate in individual and group supervision
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
Master’s degree in social work/psychology/counseling Registered with California BBS: ASW, AMFT, APCC, or full licensed Bilingual Spanish skill set, must pass bilingual proficiency exam Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evenings and weekend hours as needed Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirementsPREFERRED
Experience working with children in out-of-home care Excellent organizational and critical-thinking skills
