You will be a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Engineer at Lockheed Martin, responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of real-time, closed-loop HWIL capabilities on multiple programs. What You Will Be Doing
As a HWIL Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of real-time, closed-loop HWIL capabilities
• Supporting program meetings, providing project status, and interfacing with a multi-discipline team
• Designing, developing, and testing air vehicle software, firmware, and hardware, and integrating stimulation equipment into the HWIL facility
• Debugging software, hardware, connectors, timing, and designs as part of the integration team
• Integrating, testing, verifying, and validating the system and various subsystems
• Using lab equipment to troubleshoot hardware and software failures in support of HWIL integration and testing
• Interpreting customer needs, working with the team to develop software solutions, product backlogs, and providing technical feedback to the team

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Secret Clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM), or equivalent professional experience related to HWIL
• Work experience with gathering customer requirements and developing design specs
• Experience designing or integrating HW and SW; or experience with HWIL
• Interim Secret Clearance required to start
Desired Skills:
• Experience as an engineer working with multi-disciplined teams
• Experience performing Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis and HWIL design and simulation analysis
• Support preflight system performance assessment and post flight verification analyses.
• HWIL real-time, closed-loop simulation experience is desired.
• Flight software integration and verification experience is also a plus
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
