ResponsibilitiesPerform air and water balancing on HVAC systems in commercial and institutional settingsVerify performance against design specifications and applicable industry standardsGenerate detailed, legible, and accurate TAB reportsAdjust and optimize air and hydronic systems to meet design criteriaOperate instruments including flow hoods, manometers, anemometers, pressure gauges, and hydronic metersTroubleshoot and report system performance issuesInterface with project managers, contractors, and commissioning agentsManage tools, calibration records, and adhere to safety protocolsWork independently and complete assignments without supervisionAdapt to diverse project environments, including industrial sitesQualificationsRequired Skills:
HVAC system knowledgeAir and water balancing expertiseAbility to interpret blueprints and mechanical drawingsFamiliarity with TABB, NEBB, or AABC methodologiesPreferred but Not Required:
Certification with AABC, NEBB, or TABBOSHA 10/30 certificationCommissioning process knowledgeDuct leakage, sound, and vibration testing experienceExperience with reporting software (TABB Reports, AABC Standards)Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
