THE JOB:

Join our dynamic team at MassMutual Center as an HVAC Technician, where you will be essential in maintaining the integrity and functionality of our facility. Your responsibilities include performing predictive maintenance, reactive repairs, and installation work on all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the building.

THE STARTING RATE: $34.57 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems throughout the property; responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintain logbooksOperate power and hand tools to complete job assignmentsUse diagnostic tools, such as but not limited to: Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges and pressure gauges etc. to find and determine source of power and gas issues using voltmeter or gaugesRead and understand blueprints and wiring schematics to install and work on electrical componentsUnderstand the layout of the property, hotel rooms, and equipmentKeep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the propertyMaintain a constant awareness of property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention; able to wear/use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Has high school diploma, GED or equivalentHas 2+ years of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or similar environmentValid MA Refrigeration’ License-RequiredValid EPA Universal Certification RequiredValid driver’s licenseValid Mechanical or EPA HVAC&R A-B license - Required
