Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced HVAC Technicians for projects located in and around Tacoma, WA. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $45/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are an HVAC Technician eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:           

Install, service, and repair heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems in residential settingsDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systemsPerform routine maintenance checks, diagnostics, cleanings, and tune-upsCommunicate clearly and professionally with homeowners to explain technical issues and recommend solutionsComplete work orders, documentation, and maintenance records accuratelyMaintain a clean and organized work area, both in the field and in company vehiclesStay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and best practicesInstall and connect HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, wiring, thermostats, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, chillers, boilers, and ventilation units.Repair or replace components such as motors, bearings, valves, belts, and sensors; charge systems with refrigerants and verify performance.Maintain accurate service records and inventory logs.Collaborate with engineers, apprentices, and subcontractors on larger projects and communicate system status, repair options, and maintenance plans with clients or building managers.Train end-users, when necessary, on basic system operations.

 

Requirements Valid HVAC Journeyman License and EPA Section 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal).HVAC certification or diploma from an accredited trade school (preferred)Minimum 2 years of experience in residential HVAC service and installationStrong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and safety procedures; ability to read and work from blueprints and technical manuals.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and personal vehicle.Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and operate in varying weather conditions.High school diploma or equivalent Company Details
