HVAC Technician
**Overview** The HVAC Technician/General Maintenance troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs HVAC and related equipment as assigned, and assumes day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or projects as assigned to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost effective manner. **Pay $27.00 an hour:** or The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. **1st shift position** **Benefit Information:** **2025 Benefits** https://wpe-media.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Staff\_&\_Management\_No%20Date%209.5.24.pdf **Basic Qualifications** : • Must be 18 years of age or older • Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license • High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required **Preferred Qualifications** : • One (1) year of prior HVAC o mechanical technician experience is preferred • One (1) year of General Maintenance experience **Responsibilities** : • Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts • Handle heavy workload of calls, some general plumbing experience, and drywall experience, and basic electrical experience • Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return • Manage workload and job scheduling, and changing out filters and trouble shoot if needed. • Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork • Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs) • Keep manager informed of customer feedback • Communicate effectively and promptly • Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team, snake drains, or toilets, or repair or hang pictures, or put together furniture. • Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company • When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups • Report team performance issues to the Supervisor Anything that may be additional needed. \#300 A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
