Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman HVAC Technicians for projects located in and around Tacoma, WA. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $42/hour based on experience plus $125/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system efficiency
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulationsMaintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Communicate clearly with clients and team members
Adhere to all safety standards and procedures on-site
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
HVAC certification or relevant technical training preferred
Proven HVAC experience
Valid HVAC license and EPA Certification (EPA Card required)
Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, specifications, and job orders
Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in tight or elevated spaces
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with smart HVAC systems or energy-efficient upgrades
Knowledge of refrigeration systems
Familiarity with local building codes and compliance requirements
