We have an Excellent career opportunity for anHVAC Technicianto join a leading Company located inSparks, NV.
Salary Range: $52,000 - $93,600 DOE
As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing primarily residential customers, with occasional light commercial work (small offices and retail spaces).
Job Responsibilities:
+ Perform detailed diagnostics on HVAC systems to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
+ Troubleshoot malfunctioning heating, cooling, and ventilation systems using gauges, meters, and software tools.
+ Conduct root-cause analysis for system failures and recommend appropriate repairs or system upgrades.
+ Inspect, test, and calibrate thermostats, sensors, and control systems to ensure proper operation.
+ Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and wiring schematics to aid in complex system repairs.
+ Diagnose refrigerant leaks, test pressure levels, and recharge systems according to EPA standards.
+ Verify system efficiency and performance through airflow measurements and temperature differential testing.
+ Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians on complex troubleshooting tasks.
+ Maintain accurate records of diagnostic results, service performed, and parts used.
+ Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repair recommendations, and preventive measures.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ EPA certification is required.
+ Proven experience with HVAC service, repair, troubleshooting, and duct systems.
+ Familiarity with OSHA safety protocols.
+ Clean driving record.
+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
+ Professional appearance and attitude.
