Position Overview:

Ferguson is seeking a dynamic HVAC Equipment Marketing Specialist to support the MDF (Market Development Funds) claims process for International Comfort Products (ICP - Carrier/Bryant, Day & Night) unitary HVAC equipment lines nationwide. This highly cross-functional role will involve close collaboration with Field Marketing, Asset Management, Local Operations and Central Accounting teams. The Specialist will ensure compliance with all guidelines and brand standards to secure funding for MDF claims.

Location:

This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid for associates in Newport News, VA or Chico, CA, in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all direct MDF claims meet established ICP guidelines and brand standards.

Track MDF approvals.

Write customer credits in Trilogie and ensure vendor reimbursements are coded and applied to correct Ferguson locations and general ledger accounts.

Communicate claim status to Field Equipment Marketing Team.

Maintain shared tracking spreadsheets with customers allocated funds and credits issued.

Support multiple HVAC equipment brands with diverse marketing initiatives, including promotions, events and advertising.

Work collaboratively to place customers’ needs at the forefront of marketing strategies.

Work with internal marketing support team to co-brand collateral produced by manufacturers to communicate national promotions or programs to customers and sales associates.

Assist Equipment Marketing Team with customer promotion tracking

Assist with internal communication to internal sales teams to ensure awareness of customer marketing initiatives and available assets.

Promote and maintain corporate identity, brand and design standards, and the enterprise value proposition and expand brand recognition and awareness of Ferguson.

Assist in preparing monthly marketing reviews and sales reports for HVAC equipment lines.

Qualifications:

Ideally 5 years’ experience in the trade industry.

Possess strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Highly organized and thrive working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Ability to handle multiple projects with excellent attention to detail and on-time delivery.

Proficiency in MS Office a requirement; Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, etc.

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$4,266.67 - $6,825.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
