Services: + Program Consulting + Finance Consulting and Billing Services + Applied Technology + Outsourcing and Operations + Strategy + Project and Grants Management + Assessments and Feasibility Studies The Human Services team Consultant will work on a range of projects related to helping states design and calculate optimal purchasing strategies. Government is a large purchaser of human services. Our strategic purchasing team develops payment rates across the continuum of care for various human services. We work with human services agencies to understand available services and program goals and develop program rates that support desired outcomes. We also help agencies to identify federal funding support and calculate reimbursement rates. This role will focus on strategic purchasing projects (including cost reporting and rate setting projects); however, duties will include supporting and managing projects with quantitative and qualitative analysis, program design and documentation, writing a range of documents (e.g., client reports, PowerPoint presentations, project plans, policies and procedures, and proposals), and communicating with a wide range of audiences, both clients and internal to PCG. The consultant will work in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment, and will need to be able to work effectively both in teams and independently. While the consultant will focus primarily on managing child and family services projects, the candidate, will also gain experience across a range of human services projects (e.g., aging and disability, behavioral health, childcare, child welfare and early education/intervention) while refining sophisticated consulting skills and abilities designed to position them for broader and deeper roles. The ideal candidate excels in the collection of cost data and other information from providers, as well as the analysis and manipulation of large datasets.
