Human Resources Operations Senior Analyst - HIH - Evernorth

Job Overview:

The HR Operations Coordinator will report to the HIH HR Operations Manager and will be responsible for supporting Payroll processing, HR compliance, Benefits Administration, Taxation knowledge, Data analysis for Evernorth Hyderabad Innovation Hub ensuring that data quality and metrics are key deliverable for all transactions with timely delivery. Coordinate/work closely with various stake holders and cross functional HR teams in to provide a seamless Employees experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for all employees ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role involves handling end-to-end HR Operations process, HR systems administration, labour law compliance & renewals.

Payroll Management:

·       Administer and process accurate and timely payroll for all employees (Regular/Temp etc.,)

·       Support with the procedures of preparation of shift allowances, overtime, one-time bonuses, deductions ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies

·       Maintain payroll records, ensuring all data is kept up to date and secure

·       Perform reconciliation and validation of data according to predefined payroll processing procedures and standards

·       Oversea and track the compliance payments to ensure timely payments to the statutory authorities like EPFO, professional taxes, NPS, income tax, etc.

·       Perform validation on the payroll input vs output, bank files etc.,

·       Handle exit administration such as resignation, retirements etc., for stop/hold payment and full & final settlement process

·       Ensure proper documentation for controls and audits

·       Ensure proper government reporting and compliance

·       Resolve payroll discrepancies and handle any payroll related inquiries from employees

·       Generate pay statements to verify all necessary tax deductions and benefits contributions are applied correctly

·       Oversee the Labour Law Compliance & renewals

·       Manage the Leave management & HR Leave accruals.

·       Support in maintaining employee records, ensuring that all HR documentation is up-to-date and compliant

·       Assist with benefits administration, including enrolling employees in benefits programs, and managing changes in employee benefits (eg: health insurance retirement plans)

·       Provide guidance on interpreting payroll and benefits policies to ensure clarity and transparency

·       Assist in advising employees on payroll policies and procedures as needed

·       Respond to employees’ inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters.

·       Responsible for managing third party service provider of payroll

Education:

·       Bachelor’s degree in the Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Accounting).

Experience:

·       Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in HR Operations.

Skills:

·       Solid understanding of end-to-end HR operations processes specifically supporting the Indian market along with payroll management

·       Strong working knowledge of Workday

·       Attention to detail, accuracy handling HR tasks, demonstrates sense of urgency and can prioritize task to meet deadlines

·       Experienced in working with cross country and cross functional teams

·       Excellent organizational and time management skills

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team
