We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions across our seven Samples plant locations. This role will lead and develop the HR team and partner with our Samples team to create an environment where every associate can be successful and find meaning in their work, while achieving the best outcomes for our customers and the business. The role will act as a visible partner, working with the Senior HR Manager to address business needs touching all HR functions and capabilities including associate engagement, culture, talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, and employee relations. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives including associate experience, high performance culture, and people analytics.Location: Plants 52, 1S, 2S, 20, 27, 2P, and WH – SamplesShaw Industries Group, Inc. is a leader in flooring and other surface solutions designed for residential housing, commercial spaces and outdoor environments. Partner with the facility leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, workforce assessments, and succession planning. Foster an environment of inclusion, growth, and development and lead talent management strategies. Understand business goals and recommend strategic new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvement in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company. Respond to and support organizational and workforce changes with agility. Provide thought leadership and insightful data to guide decision-making and provide proactive solutions. Partner with leadership to build a competitive advantage through people by ongoing coaching to optimize growth and team performance for employees and plant leadership. Prepare and conduct quarterly Work Force Assessment (WFA) and Pay for Performance (P4P) training and calibration sessions along with Individual Growth and Development Plan (IGDP) training for Samples Team. Provide support and guidance to the leadership and associates when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. Conduct and oversee employee relations coaching, terminations, and investigations; including hotline reports. Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree3+ years of previous Human Resources experienceDemonstrated success in employee relations, coaching, and change managementPreferred Skills:Experience working with associates in a manufacturing, supply chain, or multi-site environment.Working knowledge of Workday, Workforce, One Model, and Tableau.Bi-lingual and fluent in English and Spanish, written and verbal skills.Competencies:Coach and SupportInfluence OthersDemonstrate Good JudgementFacilitate ChangeNavigate Ambiguity#ShawIND#LI-TF1Work Shift
