Human Resources Manager
Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Advise managers and supervisors on employee relations and HR best practicesProvide guidance on employment legislation and conflict resolutionManage relationships with labour unions, including grievance handling and collective agreement administrationLead arbitration preparation and union negotiationsDevelop strategies to attract diverse talent and oversee recruitment and onboardingAdminister compensation and benefits programs, including health insurance and pension plansEnsure compliance with employment laws and maintain HR policiesPresent HR metrics and insights to leadershipSupport change management and HRIS implementation projects

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field5+ years of progressive HR experience, including unionized environmentsStrong knowledge of Canadian labour laws and HR practices across provincesExperience managing collective agreements and union negotiationsFamiliarity with benefits administration and pension programsProficiency in English and conversational FrenchStrong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ADP or similar HRIS platformsStrong interpersonal and coaching abilitiesExperience with organizational change and system implementationsDetail-oriented, adaptable, and self-motivatedAbility to multitask and solve problems in a dynamic environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
