As a member of BCG’s Human Resources team, we will lean on you to help us develop, deploy, and retain the best talent in the market. We will work together to manage the full life cycle of our BCGers and the day-to-day operations of HR. In this role, you will have the opportunity to display your exceptional customer service, problem solving, and analytical skills!
You will be a key leader within the Austin office, as well as a member of the Southwest Human Resources Team. You will have the opportunity to focus on a variety of tasks including performance and development, employee relations, mobility, leaves of absence, onboarding, and employee exits. Additionally, you will actively participate in the broader HR community including participating in regional initiatives and projects.
You're Good At:
HR Operations – Provide day-to-day operational support to local staff, ensuring a seamless and consistent employee experience across the full employee life cycle. This includes onboarding and offboarding, performance and development processes, role and compensation changes, and Workday updates. Additional responsibilities include overseeing leaves of absence (LOAs), managing the employee exit process, and offering guidance on benefits, HR policies, internal transfers, and other HR-related inquiries.
Office Leadership – Serve as a trusted business partner to Office Leadership, the BST Management Team, and employees on a wide range of HR matters. Build trusted relationships across the office and act as a coach and mentor to staff, while serving as a visible culture carrier and role model. Collaborate with managers on key talent initiatives, including performance management, employee development, performance improvement plans, and offboarding when needed. Support engagement and communication by delivering presentations on HR-related topics in staff forums and other office-wide meetings.
Employee Relations – Collaborate with Office Leadership, Business Services Managers, and employees to address a wide range of workplace and employee relations matters. Work closely with the Southwest HR Director and, when necessary, the internal legal team to ensure thoughtful, compliant, and consistent resolution of complex issues.
Mobility - Coordinate secondments including but not limited to internal, external, ambassador programs, BST Temp Track, Social Impact, Global Partnership & CEO Priority. Partner with staffing team and mobility services. Coordinate US immigration process by working with the regional US immigration team, global mobility team, local transfer coordinator and expatriates to secure US employment authorization. Ensure Assignment Pro and Pathways are updated with needed employee information, dossier, appropriate approvals and finalized memo.
AI-Enablement - Contribute to our early efforts to explore how AI can enhance our ways of working. This includes supporting small-scale pilots, identifying practical opportunities for improvement, and helping the team build comfort and capability with new tools. Your perspective and engagement will play an important role in shaping a thoughtful, people-centered approach to adopting emerging technologies.

What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Focus in Business or HR preferred.Five + years of human resources management experience in a progressive HR department.Experience in a high-touch environment with professional staff. Professional services experience is a plus.Candidates must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, global, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment, keeping with BCG’s values and culture.Strong communication skills; able to communicate confidently, articulately and with precision. You will be working in the Austin office and be part of the dynamic 5-person Southwest human resources team. As a team, we provide on-the-ground support to a growing group of high performing Consultants and Business Services team members across 3 offices.

That's why we operate on a hybrid model, with the expectation that team members will be in the office 3 to 5 days per week. This role is designed for those who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is not intended for remote or virtual work.
Compensation
Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.
The base salary range for this role is $102,000-$124,000.
This is an estimated range and specific base salaries within the range depend on factors such as office location, experience, and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.
In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a discretionary bonus of up to 16% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
