Are you an experienced HR professional seeking a role where you can make a real impact? Emerson is looking for a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Manager to join our team in Stafford, TX. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading culture and employee experience at our manufacturing facility. Operating in a matrixed organization, you will report to the Plant Manager along with a strong dotted line reporting relationship with the Americas HR Director and VP, Pressure Relief Valves.
You will work to build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional partners, helping to drive business results. You will lead the Human Resources function in Stafford covering areas such as employee relations, training and development, compensation, recruitment and succession planning. You will provide leadership to our business and manufacturing operations which employees approximately 500+ employees.
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Partner with site leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and drive employee engagement. Lead a team supporting 500+ employees in areas including employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Coach and advise managers on employee relations, investigations, and performance issues. Coordinate recruitment for salaried and hourly positions, working closely with the Talent Acquisition team. Support staffing strategies, succession planning, and early career programs. Guide compensation planning and educate leaders on salary practices and market data. Identify training needs and deliver or coordinate training programs across all employee levels. Champion employee engagement through surveys, culture initiatives, and development activities. Maintain compliance with employment laws, policies, and regulatory matters. Participate in site leadership meetings and organizational reviews. Recommend improvements to HR processes to help attract and retain talent.WHO YOU ARE:

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, Industrial Relations or related field A minimum of 5 years’ HR leadership experience Working knowledge of HR related governmental laws and regulations Demonstrated effectiveness in establishing and building rapport with all levels of an organization Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, presentation and influence skills required Experience in facilitating training Strong customer service focus with a high level of responsiveness Working knowledge of HRIS systems Experience creating a culture of engagement, collaboration and teamwork Ability to travel up to 10% of the year Legal authorization to work in the US - sponsorship will not be provided for this rolePREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
