Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing activities of the human resources (HR) department. These responsibilities include onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, progressive discipline and employee relations. The HR Manager serves as an advocate who ensures that all company and employee interactions are handled in a fair and consistent manner.

What you will be responsible for:

Functions as an advisor to operations management regarding the application of employment law and company policies to specific business decisions and performance management.Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant.Champion the onboarding process by ensuring a positive first experience with the company.Manages employee relations situations and investigations with consistency and a sense of urgency.Maintains accurate and up to date employee related data in HRIS and other applicable systems/files.Supports the performance management cycle, advising and coaching in goal setting, mid-year feedback and year end performance reviews.Administer salary administration program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.Assist with projects and implementation of new programs.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.All other duties as assigned.

Must be a U.S. Person as defined in 22 C.F.R. §120.15Must be able to obtain / maintain a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.5 years HR experienceWillingness to travel up to 25% of the time including international travelBuild strong relationships with internal customers, fostering trust and promoting collaborationHandle confidential matters with discretion

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a 15% bonus. AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and ADD insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
