Sodexo is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resource Manager to join our team at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN.

As an HR Manager, you will play a key role in shaping that culture, supporting recruitment, employee engagement, training and development, labor relations, and compliance across a large and diverse food service team.

What You'll Do recruit and onboard frontline hires utilizing onboarding and payroll systemspossess knowledge of state and federal HR lawsmaintain active and terminated employee filescoordinate and conduct required monthly trainingpossess excellent customer service skills for phone conversations and email responsespossess strong time management and organizational skillswork well independently and as part of a teamunderstand and respect sensitive and confidential informationhave excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as the ability to learn additional computer programs as neededcomplete special projects based on business needs regarding human resources data and analysis demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands What We Offer

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year of HR experience
