During your internship you will be exposed to and gain an understanding of everything in the colourful world of HR that ranges from HR Operations, meaningful Employee Engagement projects, Reward, Benefits and Payroll. You will partner very closely and support the HR team in the delivery of high quality HR services across the business. Your responsibilities may span the following areas: Employee Experience Programmes & Communications + Under the supervision of HR Director and HR Coordinator, plan & deliver meaningful activities to drive good employee experiences and employee satisfaction, eg. healthy week/Month, inclusion and CSR efforts + Review and improve existing communication channels & mode + Design EDMs/artwork for internal Company/HR announcements as required (remark: the broadcast role should be from HRD or HRC, not intern) + Support HRC in coordinating Staff Welfare matters, i.e. LSA, Marriage, New Born, Hospitalization & Bereavement Employee Lifecycle + Support HRC in handling end-to-end Onboarding, Offboarding and relevant HR documentation for new joiners & leavers, including but not limited to communications, activation of Sterling Backcheck & pre-employment medical check etc. + Generate Employee Letters as needed/requested, i.e. Letter of Employment, Visa Applications, PR Applications etc. Invoice & Billing Matters + Vendor & PO creation + Invoice processing + Validating & processing 3rd party contractors’ invoices Other Ad-Hoc: + Collaborate closely with HRD/HRC on HR Analytics efforts for data collection and analysis; for example: research, gather and translate HR industry data/trends and insights for application to the business + Own and manage the monthly HR Events Calendar and initiate meetings to brainstorm and plan for upcoming events & projects + Extend support to wider HR team, when required & directed by HRD/HRC Please note that this is a full-time 6 month internship opportunity from January - June 2026 for undergraduate students.  You are: - + A resourceful and self-driven tech savvy individual with constant curiosity coupled with a pioneering and proactive attitude + Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently and recognize what/when to escalate + Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal + Natural flair for creativity and able to think out of the box and good technical aptitude to learn new systems + Demonstrated ability to build rapport with employees and peers across all levels in the business + Bursting with high levels of initiative with positive energy and most importantly, a good sense of humor + High level of adaptability and strong desire for learning and trying out new ideas + A superstar team player and able to work effectively with different teams and cultures within a multinational, diverse environment + Meticulous in all that you execute and have a very keen eye for detail + Able to work deliver within deadlines and thrive is a complex, fast paced environment + Passionate about the media industry + Customer focus mentality and can-do attitude + Basic understanding of local employment law and legislations and resourceful in accessing / researching data and information when required + Ability to practice strict confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information + Proficient with MS Office Suite a must As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
