Human Resources (HR) Manager
Description We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Irvine, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the construction industry. Responsibilities: • Oversee employee relations and provide guidance to resolve workplace conflicts effectively. • Manage the full cycle of recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure accurate handling of benefit-related matters. • Maintain and update HRIS systems to ensure accurate employee records and compliance. • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies while providing expert HR advice. • Facilitate onboarding processes to help new employees integrate smoothly into the organization. • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, fostering a culture of empathy and understanding. • Handle HR tasks directly, ensuring timely and efficient execution of responsibilities without delegation. • Support workforce planning and development initiatives to meet organizational goals. Requirements • Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably within the construction industry. • Proficiency in employee relations, HR administration, and benefits management. • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations. • Ability to manage HRIS systems and maintain accurate data records. • Fluency in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in a bilingual environment. • Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes. • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. • Strong communication skills with an empathetic and approachable demeanor.
