Human Resources (HR) Assistant
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Pico Rivera, California. This role involves providing critical support for recruitment activities, interview scheduling, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers in an efficient and timely manner. • Manage accurate data entry into HR systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date. • Organize and maintain employee records and HR-related files for easy access and compliance. • Provide administrative support for recruitment processes, including posting job ads and screening resumes. • Conduct background checks and assist in onboarding activities for new hires. • Handle benefit functions and assist employees with inquiries related to HR policies. • Use HR software systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to support daily operations. • Audit documentation and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing HR-related questions and concerns. • Support other HR tasks as needed to ensure the department runs smoothly. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR or administrative role. • Proficiency in HR software systems, including ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Experience with data entry and filing, demonstrating attention to detail. • Knowledge of recruitment processes, such as interview scheduling and ATS systems. • Familiarity with background checks and benefit administration. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
