Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio on a contract basis. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to support key HR processes, including payroll management, document handling, and employee communications. If you are skilled in administrative support and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our HR operations.
Responsibilities:
• Process payroll with accuracy, including verifying weekly entries and preparing for execution.
• Manage electronic document imaging, storage, and distribution using cloud-based systems.
• Communicate with external contacts to ensure mail is redirected appropriately.
• Coordinate and track employee performance reviews, including scheduling and managing related communications.
• Oversee employee leave forms and integrate them with organizational calendars.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive HR documents such as payroll records, tax forms, and medical information.
• Provide administrative support for HR functions, including scheduling and project management.
• Monitor compliance with HR policies and assist with auditing tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution of benefit functions and background checks. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll management or similar financial/administrative processes.
• Familiarity with HR software systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and HRMS.
• Strong proficiency in electronic document management and communication protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Skilled in scheduling, project management, and administrative support.
• Knowledge of auditing procedures and benefit functions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
