Human Resources Generalist (SSO)

Job Title:      HR Generalist

Reports to:   HR Manager

Position Description: Provide guidance for Human Resources functions including recruiting, employee relations, talent management, training, and benefits. Serve as liaison for employees and support key management initiatives.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

Represent company culture, values, and Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) activities across company.Administer and communicate Human Resources (HR) related programs, policies, and procedures while providing knowledgeable and timely responses to employee inquiries.Establish a trusting environment to create a safe and neutral setting where employees can openly engage with HR. Connect in- person with employees regularly and provide guidance to leadership on people-related needs and concerns.Contribute new ideas to support continuous improvement in overall effectiveness of HR team. Apply basic concepts and practices while identifying areas of improvement.Manage Talent Acquisition (TA) activities:

- Manage recruitment, onboarding and orientation processes for all interns and new hires.
- Organize summer internship program.
- Maintain accurate and timely applicant tracking data, including maintenance of job requisitions, posting content,  interview schedules, and managing end-to-end hiring process.Contribute information to support team with strategic staffing and internal mobility decisions.Support activities relating to employee discipline, involuntary terminations, performance improvement plans, employee claims, investigations, and employee relations counseling under guidance of HR management.Manage and facilitate performance and development program processes, provide training and support to managers. Assist with 9-box, succession planning, calibrations and prepare materials for discussions.Conduct all off-boarding activities to include exit interviews along with coordinating payroll, benefits information, and return of company property.Support employee inquiries and provide accurate communication of benefits and policy information: short- and long-term disability (STD/LTD) and other leave programs and oversees benefits open enrollment process.Provide support to the HR team whenever additional assistance is required.Maintain accurate employee data changes in HR system of record. Conduct routine audits to ensure data integrity.Generate, analyze, interpret various metrics and reports for leadership and HR management.Facilitate employee recognition programs, employee service awards, and staff awards programs.Assist Employee Resources Group (ERG) leaders in utilizing Diversity & Inclusion programs.Maintain updated records to ensure compliance with Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
