Job Summary
The HR Generalist will report to and partner with the HR Manager at the Marshall, MN location. This position will provide HR support for various levels of management and colleagues within the plant. The ideal candidate will foster innovative ideas and a desire to explore new possibilities.

Essential Job Functions
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist will help drive key initiatives based our ADM core values. Key job tasks will include but are not limited to the following responsibilities:Work weekly with department leaders to ensure timely processing of payroll. Assist with recruitment by working with Talent Acquisition COE and plant colleagues which may include scheduling interviews with on-site salary colleagues, following up with TA about interviews and ensuring new colleagues are in proper process for onboarding and ready for new hire orientation. Develop and maintain successful working relationships with plant leadership in order to influence and provide effective HR processes, advice and support. Actively champion and promote all safety related policies and programs to ensure colleague engagement and commitment to the benefits of working safe. Partner to cultivate a workforce planning strategy and knowledge transfer process to build current and future bench strength, supporting succession planning. Increase understanding and consistent application of policies, procedures and practices through training, coaching, one-on-one communication and policy interpretation. Perform routine tasks required to administer or to assist in getting information for human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations. Participates in the grievance process as needed.  Manage the position bidding process which may include: posting open position, notification of awarded position and confirming transfer to awarded positions. May perform reasonably similar or related duties as assigned.Job RequirementsAssociates or Bachelor’s degree preferred2+ years of experience with electronic timekeeping and payroll process is preferredKnowledge of IBM (CICS and IMS), Attendance Enterprise (AE) and Hourly Detail Pay (HDP) systems preferredMust be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 25lbs from waist to shoulder on an occasional basisNo push/pull requirementMust be able to walk 1-3 hoursMust be able to sit 5-8 hoursMust be able to squat/kneel on an occasional basisMust be able to climb stairs/ladders on an occasional basisConstant computer/keyboardingExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
