Summary:\n

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Plant HR Generalist to join our team. The Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office and Payroll Administration.\n

The Plant HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, payroll, recruitment and selection, benefits management, safety, and data entry functions. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization.\n

Responsibilities include all aspects of Human Resource\/Payroll Administration functions, such as but are not limited to:\n\nAssist in recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, and interviewing candidates.\nConduct new employee orientations and onboarding processes.\n\n\nAdminister payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.\nMaintains employee records in Human Resource Information System (HRIS), including new hires, transfers, terminations, job classification changes, and tracking paid time off, etc. Perform data entry.\nManage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.\n\n\nAdminister FMLA and New York State Unemployment and Shared Work.\nResponsible for Workers Comp administration and maintaining record of work-related accidents and injuries.\nHandle employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.\nEnsure compliance with company policies.\nCompany-wide events facilitation.\nCompany employee communication.\nMaintain confidentiality.\nPerform other related HR\/Payroll or administrative duties as required.\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree or higher in Human Resource Management, business, or related field.\nMinimum of 3 years of HR or similar experience is required.\nWell-versed in all areas of HR compliance including EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.\nExperience with recruiting at all levels, utilization of online and other recruiting tools, and applicant tracking systems.\nIntermediate knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.\nIntermediate knowledge of UKG (formerly Ulti Pro) HRIS system preferred.\nStrong multi-tasking, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.\nAttention to detail and experience handling sensitive and confidential information.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and see projects through to completion.\nAbility to work in a team manufacturing environment.\n\n
